The seminar brought together various representatives of LIFE projects, as well as László Bécsy, Head of the “LIFE Nature and Biodiversity” sector at the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA), and Przemyslaw Ogiński, a representative of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for the Environment.
Our colleagues not only presented the results achieved by the LIFE-IP LatViaNature project implemented by the Nature Conservation Agency of Latvia but also participated in a panel discussion titled “How LIFE Projects Contribute to Policy Development at the Regional and EU Levels.”
The seminar also included a field trip to Kampinos National Park, where examples of nature conservation, management, and restoration implemented through LIFE projects in Poland were showcased.
